Great Irish Journeys with Martha Kearney, BBC1 N Ireland, 7.30pm Monday March 30
Following the footsteps of 19th-century artist and geologist George Victor Du Noyer, Martha looks at the artist's 'places of power', from Newgrange, Co Meath, to the Rock of Cashel, sees Waterford Charter Roll and Castletown House in Co Kildare.
India's Frontier Railways, BBC4, 8.00pm Monday March 30. The last of this series on the Samjhauta Express, which crosses the border from India to Pakistan.
Dara and Ed's Great Big Adventure, BBC2 N Ireland, 9.00pm. March 31. Dara O Briain and Ed Byrne visit Guatemala taking in Lake Atitlan and the Mayan deity Maximon. They take a look at the ancient colonial city of Antigua and scale an active volcano - Pacaya. In El Salvador, they investigate the gangs that make it one of the most violent countries in Central America. In Nicaragua, they meet two Sandinista veterans who helped overthrow the Somoza regime.
Tracks and Trails, RTÉ One,7.00pm Thursday, April 2. Architect Dermot Bannon visits the island of Inishturk, nine miles off the Mayo coast. From Roonagh Quay on the mainland the ferry takes him to the island home of less than 100 inhabitants. On arrival, he meets up with Danny O'Toole, and they take one of two trails to explore the sights-includes the Spirit of Place sculpture by Travis Price. The following day, hr joins up with Gerry McCloskey to explore the south of the island, including Portdoon pier, once, a secret base for pirates.
Caribbean with Simon Reeve, BBC2 N Ireland, 8.00pm. Sunday April 5. Simon begins his journey on the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua, travels to Honduran island of Roatán and encounters extreme violence on the mainland of Honduras before finishing his adventure on the iconic island of Jamaica. In Honduras, Simon dives in the world’s second-largest barrier reef. Back on land, he meets with Hondurans in the grip of violent criminal gangs. San Pedro Sula city, has the world’s highest murder rate. In San Pedro Sula Prison he talks with some of the gang leaders. The program ends in Jamaica, a country confronting its violent reputation head-on with the police cracking down on corruption.

A Wilde Weekend in Fermanagh
The inaugural ‘A Wilde Weekend’ festival will take place on May Day Bank Holiday Weekend across venues in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. The festival, dedicated to the life and works of Oscar Wilde, will include Wildean related art forms such as theatre, literary talks, prose-theatre, poetry-theatre, the decorative arts, the domestic arts, music, film, readings and storytelling, and celebrations of walled gardens.
The headline event of the festival will be the gilding of the Cole's Monument statue, the inspiration for Wilde's The Happy Prince short fable.
